A mom wrote on her Facebook post showing a disturbing video of Arizona Hospital staff accidentally dropped one her babies after giving birth to twins and claims she wasn't notified of the incident nor there were any test after the staff dropped her newborn,.

It was February 14, 2019, the couple Derrick and Monique were so excited to see their two beautiful babies and just after the delivery, they found out the babies premature and arrived earlier than expected but still found to be healthy.

Since Derrick was too overwhelmed knowing he is already a father, he recorded every detail on his newborn until the babies were carried out by the staffs. When his second baby was about to get clean, the feelings of happiness quickly turns into nightmare.

One of the staff accidentally dropped the baby on the table and the father was shocked.
“Really it nerved me. I was shocked so I couldn’t do anything at the moment,” he says, and he already told Monique about the incident since she didn't saw what happened.

He said he confronted the doctor who handled Morgan and showed him the video of the incident but he had no response at all.

The mom posted the video on her Facebook and wrote:
"My daughter Morgan was dropped on her head due to the negligence of the staff. I was never notified she was dropped nor were there any tests done due to them dropping her. I would like to prevent this from happening to other children being born at this hospital.”

Few days later after the incident, they received unfortunate news about their daughter during medical tests on their daughter from another pediatrician. Morgan was suffering from a grade-one brain hemorrhage. Now the parents aren't sure if the cause of the hemorrhage was due to dropping or because of being premature.

When she was interviewed, Rodgers told ABC 15.“I kind of promised myself that I would never watch that video again, I feel like she was treated like a sack of potatoes.”

Meanwhile, the Arizona Republic revealed a statement in response to the incident which states,
“The safety of our patients and their families is always our top concern. The medical team at Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center takes this matter extremely seriously."

Other parents who heard the incident are curious if the couple were planning to take an action legally but Derrick this time only wants an answer and an apology wholeheartedly.

“The only thing we’re worried about right now is getting answers,” he says. “I want concrete evidence to know exactly where we’re gonna take this.”

The video may be sensitive to some viewers so we decided not to post the whole video on the article. You can watch the video here:
